No. Internet is only needed for remote features like unlocking or updates. Offline access works via Bluetooth/NFC, PIN codes, or cards. Plus, when a phone connects to an offline lock, it updates access permissions via Bluetooth.
Akiles ensures access even without power, Internet, or phone. Use the app (via BT/NFC), PIN code, or card. If the device battery dies, you’ll need to replace it. You can swap batteries even if fully drained, or power Roomlock externally via USB. You’ll get an alert at 15% battery in the Admin Panel.
